Tis the season of giving! The Class of 2020 put a twist on the annual poinsettia sale this holiday season. By supporting the class fundraiser, students were able to give over 170 poinsettias to the Memorial Villages Fire Department and Police Department as a token of their appreciation.
“The poinsettias certainly bring Christmas cheer to the fire station” says Fire Chief David Foster. “Lots of people forget that when they’re at home celebrating with their families that their firemen are always here. So it’s nice to have the school, the kids and parents of the school remember them.”
Poinsettias were delivered this week and accompanied by 9th grade representatives Annabell Skuvisz '20 and Claire Richey '20 to personally say thank you. Members of both departments will be sent home with one to enjoy with their families. Thank you Class of 2020 for the wonderful gesture!
