What Coach Kelly Bolin says about Tommy Ereli: "I enjoy teaching and coaching Tommy in golf because of the unadulterated joy he gets out of learning the game. Also, because he is always smiling, and he has made great strides so far, and the fact he put the bucket under the wrong outlet to catch the range balls and they went bouncing in every direction!"
Why do you participate in your sport(s)?: "It’s a great way to exercise and hang out with friends. I also love being outside and enjoying the weather. I wanted to learn golf because it has always intrigued me and a lot of my friends play; it will be nice to learn how. So far, it has been a great experience, and I'm learning a lot. We alternate practice between Sharpstown and Memorial Park and both are fun places to play. I plan on continuing to learn golf because so far I really enjoy it and plan on improving my game."
Person(s) who Inspire you as an athlete and why?: "My father and my sister are both great athletes, and they have always encouraged me to try new sports. My father encouraged me to try cycling, and now it is my favorite sport."
Goals as a student athlete: "My goals are mainly to have fun and not to hesitate to try new sports."
What 3 words best describe you?: "Hard-working, funny, enthusiastic."
Favorite Athletics Experience: "On my first day of winter golf, we went to practice at Sharpstown Golf Course and as I was swinging my 8 iron, I hit the ground so hard the shaft of the club bent in half. It was a very funny moment."
Favorite part of being a Falcon: "My favorite part of being a Falcon is supporting the athletics teams because there is a real sense of community among the people, and it’s fun to cheer the teams on. Go Falcons!"
Favorite food: "Sushi"
Interests outside of Athletics: "Photography, ceramics, and traveling."
Something most people do not know about you: "I’m a lifer at Kinkaid and I was in Green Door."
